The Women’s Initiatives for Gender Justice
Based in Hague, The Netherlands. This organisation works globally to ensure justice for women and communities affected by armed conflict and an independent and effective International Criminal Court.

Global Fund for Women
Based in San Francisco, USA. It is one of the world’s leading foundations for gender equality, standing up for the human rights of women and girls. They campaign for zero violence, economic and political empowerment, and sexual and reproductive health and rights. Their vision is that every woman and girl is strong, safe, powerful, and heard. No exceptions.

Dress for Success
Based in is NY, USA. It is an international not-for-profit organization that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

AWID Women's rights
Based in Toronto, Canada. It is an international, feminist, membership organisation committed to achieving gender equality sustainable development and women’s human rights.

Open Society Foundations
Based in NY, USA. It is an organisation who believe in addressing inequalities that cut across multiple lines, including race, class, gender, sexual orientation, and citizenship. They made two initiatives on women’s rights: The Women’s Rights Program and The Open Society Initiative for Europe (OSIFE).

UN Women
It is the UN organization based in NY, USA dedicated to gender equality and the empowerment of women. A global champion for women and girls, UN Women was established to accelerate progress on meeting their needs worldwide.

World wide web foundation
Based in Washington DC, USA. The organisation is fighting for equal right to access the web and one of the projects was Women’s Rights Online which focus on women’s empowerment on and through the web by working to reform policy and regulation to close the digital gender gap.

The Inter-Parliamentary Alliance for Human Rights and Global Peace
Based in USA. They operate under the legal framework of the Institute for Cultural Diplomacy and has been established in order to raise awareness of the universality of fundamental human rights, to promote social and economic development in developing countries across the world. One of their initiatives was the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women (CEDAW).

African Initiatives
Based Bristol, UK. It is an organisation which together with African partners wants to strengthen the capacity of individuals and communities so they can demand and exercise their rights. Their values are empowerment of women and girls is central to everything we do. We work through partnerships with the aim to achieve equality.

HeForShe
Based in NY, USA. This organisation is inviting people around the world to stand together to create a bold, visible force for gender equality. And it starts by taking action right now to create a gender equal world.

WORI Uganda
Based in Jinja, Uganda. Their vision is to make a society free from violence that recognizes the needs and rights of women and youths. They want to empower women and youth to advocate against violence through human rights education, information sharing, strengthening capacities, and visibility.

The Nobel Women’s Initiative
Based in Ottawa, Canada. The organisation uses the prestige of the Nobel Peace Prize and six courageous women peace laureates—Mairead Maguire, Rigoberta Menchú Tum, Jody Williams, Shirin Ebadi, Tawakkol Karman, and Leymah Gbowee—to magnify the power and visibility of women working in countries around the world for peace, justice and equality.

International Women’s Initiative
Based in London, UK. Their vision is that one day, women all over the world will be the protagonists of their own lives. their mission is to raise awareness of the threats to the human rights of women across the globe and to promote and assist in the achievement of gender equality.

The Ethical Trading Initiative
Based in London, UK. It is a leading alliance of companies, trade unions and NGOs that promotes respect for workers’ rights around the globe. Their vision is a world where all workers are free from exploitation and discrimination, and enjoy conditions of freedom, security and equity.
